FAQs

What is financial coaching, and how is it different from financial advising or therapy?

Financial coaching focuses on helping you build a personalized money management system that works with your brain, not against it. It’s collaborative, goal-oriented, and rooted in behavior change — not investment advice or emotional deep-dives. As a financial coach, I don’t tell you where to invest — I help you create systems, routines, and strategies to actually follow through on your goals.

Great for you if:
You’re a high-achieving woman who feels scattered with money, avoids your budget, or procrastinates even though you’re successful in other areas.

Is this right for me if I think I have ADHD, but I’m not diagnosed?

Yes. Whether you have a diagnosis or simply identify with ADHD traits like impulsivity, disorganization, difficulty following through, or you have anxiety my programs are designed to meet you where you are. My coaching is shame-free and neurodivergent-informed — you don’t need a label to deserve support.

I make good money — why do I still feel out of control with my finances?

So many high-achieving women feel this way. ADHD can make it hard to track spending, follow through on goals, or even open your bank app. Financial coaching helps you understand why that’s happening and gives you practical tools to reduce overwhelm, stay on track, and feel more confident.

What happens during a coaching session?

Each session is a safe, structured conversation focused on your financial goals. You’ll get clarity on your numbers, guidance on creating systems, and support in building new habits. We co-create a plan that’s both realistic and flexible — no judgment, no lectures.

How long do I need to work with a financial coach to see results?

It depends on your goals, but most clients start to feel more confident and less stressed within the first month. My 6-month program, Structured to Secure, is designed for lasting change — with built-in accountability, education, and support that keeps you moving forward (even on tough days).

What if I’ve tried budgeting before and it didn’t work?

You’re not alone — traditional budgeting tools aren’t made for ADHD brains. That’s why we take a different approach. Together, we’ll create ADHD-friendly systems that are visual, flexible, and designed to work even when motivation is low.

Is financial coaching confidential?

Absolutely. Everything we talk about is confidential and judgment-free. This is a safe space to be honest, get clarity, and build a future you feel good about.

Do you offer payment plans or sliding scale pricing?

Yes. I believe everyone deserves access to financial support. Payment plans are available, and I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots each quarter. Reach out for details or to be added to the interest list.

How do I get started?

You can book a clarity call here or fill out the interest form to see if coaching is a good fit for you. From there, we’ll talk through your goals and make a plan that feels aligned and doable.
